South West Regional Assessment Centre has been accepted onto the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers. The list of accepted organisations was announced on the 13th March 2017.

Being accepted onto the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers is a massive achievement for SWRAC as it means that local young people will have access to high-quality apprenticeships. The Register is part of a movement that aims to ensure individuals will benefit from a top-quality apprenticeship and will have assistance getting on the career ladder.

To be eligible for the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, SWRAC had to be assessed for diligence, capability, quality and financial health. The Register means that only the best organisations who have been accepted can deliver apprenticeships.

Adrian Gunner, MD of SWRAC said that he was delighted with our inclusion on the register which recognises us as a good quality training provider and enables us to serve the employers of Dorset for the foreseeable future.

The Register includes three types of apprenticeship training providers: main providers, employer providers, and supporting providers. SWRAC has been accepted as the main provider and from the 1st May 2017 will be able to deliver apprenticeship training to employers that will use the apprenticeship service to pay for apprenticeship training, deliver apprenticeship training to their own apprentices, or apprentices of their connected companies’, if they will use the apprenticeship service to pay for apprenticeship training and deliver apprenticeship training as a subcontractor.
