Government table places Hugh Baird College as the number one further education college for A-level performance in the Liverpool City Region.
Hugh Baird College has been ranked in the top 10% of colleges in England for A-level performance in league tables published by the Government this week.
The result tables, created by the Department for Education, detail the performance of all further education colleges across England during last year’s academic year, which ended in the summer of 2018.
Hugh Baird College’s South Sefton Campus in Litherland, which delivers their A-level provision, received a ‘progress score’ of 0.17 which places them in the top 10% of Colleges in England. This impressive achievement also positions them as the No. 1 further education college for A-level performance in the Liverpool City Region.
A progress score indicates how much progress students make between the end of key stage 4 and the end of their A-level studies, compared to similar students across England.
