Fusion21 has announced the launch of its national dynamic purchasing system (DPS) for Fire Suppression Systems and Associated Works, worth up to £150 million over a five year period.
Offering three specialised lots including Lot 1: Management of the Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems & Fire Safety Works (worth £100 million); Lot 2: Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Sprinkler Systems (worth £30 million) and Lot 3: Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Water Mist & Associated Systems (worth £20 million) – this DPS is the first on the market to provide a complete fire safety solution suitable for the social housing sector and public sector buildings of any scale across the UK.
Commissioned in response to member feedback, the purchasing system will remain open for new suppliers throughout its duration – creating a more competitive environment to bid and secure work. This approach also gives the flexibility to respond to any changes in legislation or within the wider marketplace.
With an easy application process focused on experience and capability, interested suppliers are required to complete a PAS91 qualification question set, whilst those registered on Constructionline should only provide their registration number and answer the DPS specific questions.
SME’s are encouraged to apply, and if not successful have the option to re-submit following receiving feedback against the set criteria.
