The Visitor Economy is recognised as one of the 4 key growth sectors of the Liverpool City Region economy with the potential to increase jobs in the visitor economy by 49% over the next decade.

Strategy and Guidance
The Liverpool City Region Visitor Economy Investment Plan was launched in July 2016.

The Liverpool City Region Destination Management Plan to 2025 sets out our vision for the visitor economy for the next 10 years. The LEP Visitor Economy Development team can work with you to develop your own visitor economy strategy in line with Liverpool City Region priorities.

Marketing Support
Marketing Liverpool, commissioned by LEP deliver destination marketing and convention bureau activity within LCR.

Marketing expertise also resides within the existing Visit Economy Board who take on responsibility for strategy development and guidance for the Place Marketing of the Liverpool City Region.
If you require advice or support, LEP can help deliver marketing support, working with individual businesses in Liverpool City Region to help them accelerate their growth plans and improve their performance, profitability and customer experience.
