The Apprenticeship Levy requires that companies with an annual paybill of over £3m pay a levy of 0.5% to co-fund apprenticeship training: this is part of the Government’s reform programme to encourage the creation of more apprenticeships.
Introduced in 2017, many employers have not committed all their funding or don't understand how they can use it.
The Combined Authority and LEP are staging a breakfast briefing to explain what is possible when using the funding, and you will be able to hear from employers, including Siemens, about how they have used the Levy in support of their wider objectives.
