The LEP is urging businesses, individuals and organisations with an interest in the City Region to become Global Partners to help attract trade, investment and talent to the City Region.

The Global Partners Programme, launched last week at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, will bring together a powerful partnership of people and businesses who are passionate about the City Region and willing to participate in it achieving its potential on a global basis.

Key to this will be the development of a coherent core message about the City Region and a unified plan – developed and delivered by the Global Partners.

The programme has six key themes;

  • A shared passion
  • A mutual ambition
  • A common goal
  • A coherent message
  • A unified plan
  •  The power of many

Interim Chair of the Liverpool City Region LEP Asif Hamid says on this new initiative: “I can honestly say never has there been a better time for us all to be joined up with one mission for the City Region – to promote the very best we have to offer from our outstanding sector strengths, physical and cultural assets to our technical excellence and capacity for innovation across the globe.

“Working together with a clear message and a unified plan will allow us to get our messages out to the right people and show just why Liverpool City Region is such an outstanding place to live, study, work and do business.

 “I urge you all to come and join us to help make it happen.”

Global Partners is essentially a comprehensive approach to attract trade, investment and talent to the City Region through the collective efforts of all those committed to its growth and success.

Global Partners is open to all business, individuals and organisations that share this commitment, whether or not they have direct international connections. If you would like to become a Global Partner register by emailing  globalpartners@liverpoollep.org
